• Logged over 100,000 nMiles sea service (Power and Sail);
• Boat deliveries Captain – Great Lakes, Florida, Bahamas, North Atlantic, Bermuda, Caribbean – West Indies, Turks & Caicos, Puerto Rico, ICW, Hudson River, NY State and Welland Canal systems, Trent Canal system;
• Captain/Engineer on larger motor yachts (up to 135GT) for 4 years;
• Holds current Restricted Radio Operator’s Certificate – Maritime Commercial (ROC-MC);
• Current Marine First Aid/CPR certificate from Transport Canada;
• Keep accurate and detailed records in the Ship and Maintenance logs;
• Developed and implemented a formal preventive maintenance program (PMP);
• Expert in electronic navigation equipment on how it operates and how to use it (Hold an Honours Engineering Electronics Diploma);
• Teaches sailing and navigation on power and sailing vessels;
• Designed and teaches a “Cruise and Learn” sailing program;
• Easygoing/affable personality, trustworthy and adaptable;
• Bondable – no criminal record;
• Excellent health, fit, non-smoker, no tattoos;
• Business background in senior management;
• Speaks English and French.
